The Pound Euro exchange rate is edging higher I early trade, paring some of the losses from the previous week. The pair trades +0.08% at €1.1090.
Brexit talks are in focus as Michel Barnier is due to arrive in London to resume trade talks with his UK counterpart David Frost. Differences still remain over fisheries and the level plying field, although UK PM Boris Johnson believes a deal is there to be done.
The Euro is broadly higher versus its peers on risk on trade following Joe Biden’s win over the weekend.
