The US Dollar Pakistani Rupee (USD/PKR) exchange rate is trading lower, paring gains from the previous session. The pair trades -0.2% at 165.94.
The Rupee is strengthening despite a lacklustre session on the domestic equities markets and as oil plunges lower. After two days of gains, oversupply concerns are dragging on oil which -1.3%.
The US Dollar is trading higher versus its major peers although lower versus the Rupee after the US Federal Reserve gave a more upbeat assessment of the US economy and proved to be in no rush to introduce further stimulus measures.
