The US Dollar Pakistan Rupee (USD/PKR) exchange rate is trading higher, adding to Tuesday’s gains. The pair jumped 0.3% to 165.50.

Pakistan’s inflation growth was showing signs of slowing. Consumer prices (CPI) jumped +8.2% yoy, down from a 9.3% increase in July and a 10.5 jump in June. On a monthly basis inflation increases +0.6%, down from last month’s 2.5% increase.

The US Dollar is charging higher across the board following from solid manufacturing numbers on Tuesday and amid high expectations for strong ADP jobs data later today. 950,000 new private sector jobs are expected in August.
