The US Dollar Pakistan Rupee (USD/PKR) exchange rate is trending lower on Monday, adding to losses from the previous week.
A risk on mood across the financial markets following better than forecast Chinese data is helping to lift the perceived riskier Rupee. The Rupee is on the rise despite the public debt – GDP ratio increasing and oil prices climbing.
US Dollar set for its worst August performance since 2015 as investors fret over the US economic recovery and adjust to the Fed’s shift in policy framework. There is plenty of data this week which will provide clarity over the health of the US economy, with non-farm payroll report on Friday.
