The Pound Australian Dollar (GBP/AUD) exchange rate is extending losses for a third straight session. The pair trades at 1.8155 and is on track for a weekly loss of 0.6%.

Brexit concerns are dragging on the Pound as fears grow that Brexit talks could collapse in the coming weeks after little or no progress has been made.

Attention now turns to Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey who will speak at the virtual Jackson Hole central bankers’ summit today.

The Australian Dollar has looked beyond souring Chinese trade relations.
