The Pound gained last week after inflation jumped to 6.2% YoY and despite consumer confidence tumbling and retail sales unexpectedly falling in February 0.3% MoM.
Today there is no high impacting UK data. BoE’s Andrew Bailey will be in focus.
The euro fell across last week amid ongoing concerns regarding the fallout from the Russian war. German IFO business climate dropped to 90.8 in March from a 5 month high of 98.5 in February.
The economic calendar is quiet today, attention will be on the latest Ukraine crisis developments.
