The Pound has enjoy a solid run of gains versus the Euro. A rapid vaccine rollout and declining covid numbers are supporting Sterling through recent sessions which have been quiet of fresh catalysts.
Today all eyes are on the European Central Bank as it announces its monetary policy decision. No change to the interest rate is expected. The focus is likely to be on the bond buying programme. Will the ECB look to increase its purchases given the rise in yields?
