The US Dollar Indian Rupee (USD/INR) exchange rate is trading flat at 73.55. The pair moved +0.15% higher across the previous week.

The Rupee is trading steadily despite a strong risk off climate across financial markets. Rising covid cases not only globally but particularly in Europe are raising fears over the health of the global economic recovery. These fears are hitting demand for riskier assets such as stocks, whilst boosting the safe haven US Dollar.

The Indian Sensex trades over 800 points lower, whilst the US equity stock markets are pointing to a 2% loss on the open.
