The US Dollar Pakistan Rupee (USD/PKR) is edging higher on Tuesday, for a second session. The par trades +0.2% at 166.30.

The Asian Development Bank upwardly revised their GDP forecast for Pakistan, expecting the covid hit to the economy to subside toward the end of this year. ADB forecast 2% GDP growth in FY2021.

The US Dollar is trading broadly lower versus major peers amid a risk on mood in the market thanks to vaccine optimism, Wall Street deals and upbeat Chinese data. Chinese retail sales rose for the first time this year, +0.5% YoY.
