The US Dollar Pakistan (US/PKR) exchange rate is pushing higher on Thursday after edging lower in the previous session. The pair trades +0.6% at 165.95.

Coronavirus cases in Pakistan are starting to decline as quickly. The number of daily cases increased by just 400 over the past 24 hours. This is in complete contrast to neighbouring India where cases are climbing by almost 80,000 infections a day.

The US Dollar is trading higher as investors look ahead to a number of data releases. Initial jobless claims will be under the spotlight ahead of tomorrow’s non-farm payroll.
