Further labour market weakness could fuel expectations of more aggressive BoE rate cuts in 2026, capping sterling gains.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/currencylive.com\/news\/109930-gbp-eur-eur-falls-after-mixed-retail-sales-data\/\">euro remains subdued after mixed retail sales<\/a>.
