German PPI fell 1.3% MoM in June, the fourth straight month of falling prices and the most significant decline since September 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The data comes ahead of the ECB meeting next week, where the central bank is expected to leave rates unchanged.<\/p>\n<p>The pound is falling but is modestly higher across the week after mixed data.<\/p>\n<p>UK unemployment rose to 4.7% and UK inflation was also hotter than expected at 3.6%.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The pound-euro (GBP\/EUR) exchange rate is falling on Friday but is expected to rise modestly over\u00a0the week.
