The pound-euro exchange rate finished last week in positive territory, up 0.46% across the week.<\/p>\n

The pound recovered from the BoE-inspired selloff<\/a> on Thursday. The central bank cut rates by 25 bps, but the vote was more dovish than expected.<\/p>\n

On Friday, data showed that UK house prices rose in January by 0.2% MoM.<\/p>\n

The EUR fell on Friday despite the German trade surplus widening, with exports rising 2.9% and imports increasing 2.1%.<\/p>\n
