This reduced the main rate to 3.5% from 3.75%.<\/p>\n<p>The central bank downwardly revised its growth outlook for this year to 0.8%, down from the 0.9% projection in July.<\/p>\n<p>The pound is unchanged on a quiet day on the economic calendar.<\/p>\n<p>The latest RICS house price survey showed house prices rose for the first time in two years.<\/p>\n<p>Attention will be now turning to the Bank of England meeting next week.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The pound euro (GBP\/EUR) exchange rate is rising after losses yesterday.
