The pound euro (GBP\/EUR) exchange rate is falling after two days of gains.<\/p>\n
The pound is under pressure after inflation eased by more than forecast to 4.7% YoY in October, from 6.7%. The weak inflation figures add to bets that the BoE has finished hiking interest rates, although rates are expected to remain at 5.25% for some time.<\/p>\n
The first rate cut is being priced in the June next year.<\/p>\n
The euro is edging higher despite German wholesale prices falling -0.7% MoM after rising 0.2% in September.<\/p>\n
