The pound euro (GBP\/EUR) exchange rate is heading lower towards \u20ac1.1450 and is set to trade flat across the week.<\/p>\n

The pound is falling despite UK services PMI coming in above forecasts at 49.5, up from 49.3 in September and ahead of the 49.2 preliminary reading.<\/p>\n

The data comes after the BoE rate decision, where the BoE left rates unchanged at 5.25%.<\/p>\n

The euro rises after stronger than expected German trade surplus of $16.5 billion down from $17.7 billion but ahead of forecasts of \u20ac16.3 billion.<\/p>\n
