The pound euro (GBP\/EUR) exchange rate is inching higher after two days of losses.<\/p>\n

The pound fell yesterday after UK manufacturing PMI fell to 46.5 in June down from 47.1, one of its weakest reading since the 2008\/9 financial crisis.<\/p>\n

There is no high impacting UK economic data due today, in what is expected to be a quiet day.<\/a><\/p>\n

The euro rose yesterday despite weak manufacturing activity as the manufacturing PMI fell to 43.4, its eight month below 50.<\/p>\n

Today attention turns to German trade data and Spanish unemployment, which are not expected to have a big impact on the euro.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
