The pair rose for a fifth straight week.<\/p>\n<p>The euro eased despite hawkish ECB chatter, with ECB President Christine Lagarde saying on Friday that the central bank still has more work to do to bring inflation back towards 2%.<\/p>\n<p>Today eurozone consumer confidence is in focus and is expected to improve slightly to -17 from -17.5.<\/p>\n<p>The pound rose last week, boosted by expectations that the BoE will continue hiking interest rates.
