{"id":112548,"date":"2022-06-10T07:30:44","date_gmt":"2022-06-10T06:30:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/currencylive.com\/news\/?p=112548"},"modified":"2022-06-10T05:31:24","modified_gmt":"2022-06-10T04:31:24","slug":"107121-gbp-eur-pair-inches-lower-towards-e1-1750","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/currencylive.com\/news\/107121-gbp-eur-pair-inches-lower-towards-e1-1750\/","title":{"rendered":"GBP\/EUR: Pair Inches Lower Towards \u20ac1.1750"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Pound Euro <a href=\"https:\/\/currencylive.com\/exchange-rate\/gbp-to-eur-exchange-rate-today\/\">(GBP\/EUR<\/a>) exchange rate is edging lower after strong gains yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>The euro came under pressure despite the <a href=\"https:\/\/currencylive.com\/news\/107120-gbp-eur-euro-steadies-after-ecb-inspired-fall\/\">ECB adopting a more hawkish stance<\/a> and hinting towards to a 0.25% rate rise in July and a 0.5% rate rise in September.<\/p>\n<p>The central bank slashed its growth outlook to 2.8% whilst raising the inflation outlook to 6.8%.<\/p>\n<p>The pound rose after Prime Minister Boris Johnson set out plans to boost the economy.
