However concerns over slowing economic growth and fears of recession will keep gains capped.<\/p>\n<p>The BoE are expected to raise rates by 25 basis points on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>The Euro traded lower last week as tensions with Russia intensified and concerns over stagflation rose.<\/p>\n<p>Eurozone GDP grew at 0.2% a slower pace than expected, yet inflation rose to a record high of 7.5% YoY.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/currencylive.com\/news\/107058-gbp-eur-euro-looks-to-data-after-falling-last-week\/\">Eurozone manufacturing PMI and consumer confidence are in focus<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Pound Euro (GBP\/EUR) exchange rate is edging higher at the start of the week.
