The Pound Euro (GBP\/EUR<\/a>) exchange rate is edging higher above \u20ac1.20<\/p>\n

The Pound gained last week after inflation jumped to 6.2% YoY and despite consumer confidence tumbling and retail sales unexpectedly falling in February 0.3% MoM.<\/p>\n

Today there is no high impacting UK data. BoE’s Andrew Bailey<\/a> will be in focus.<\/p>\n

The euro fell across last week amid ongoing concerns regarding the fallout from the Russian war. German IFO business climate dropped to 90.8 in March from a 5 month high of 98.5 in February.<\/p>\n
