The Pound is rising versus the euro but trading lower versus the US Dollar on fears of the Russia, Ukraine conflict escalating.<\/a><\/p>\n

There is no UK economic data today and the calendar is quiet across the week. BoE policymakers are due to speak.<\/p>\n

The euro pushed higher on Friday thanks to the German economy contracting less than feared in the fourth quarter and stronger than forecast eurozone economic sentiment.<\/p>\n

Today all eyes are on Ukraine as the Russian invasion ramps up.<\/p>\n
