The Pound Euro (GBP\/EUR<\/a>) exchange rate is attempting to claw back some of yesterday\u2019s steep losses.<\/p>\n

The mood in the market has improved following fears that China\u2019s Evergrande could be a Lehman\u2019s moment.<\/p>\n

Rising sentiment in addition to data revealing that UK public sector net borrowing<\/a> fell by \u00a35.5 billion year on year has helped underpin the Pound. However, the data from the Office of National Statistics also revealed that interest payments jumped \u00a32.9 billion year on year.<\/p>\n
