The Pound Euro (GBP\/EUR<\/a>) exchange rate holding steady above \u20ac1.17 after a flat finish in the previous session.<\/p>\n

The Pound barely moved in the previous session as optimism surrounding recent covid numbers was offset by concerns over the government next move.<\/p>\n

Today all eyes are n the UK unemployment data<\/a> for clues of the health of the labour market ahead of the furlough scheme winding down at the end of the month.<\/p>\n

The Euro came under pressure following dovish comments from ECB official Isabel Schnabel.<\/p>\n
