The Pound Euro (GBP\/EUR<\/a>) exchange rate is ticking lower on Thursday.<\/p>\n

The Pound remains depressed amid ongoing Brexit woes. The EU rejected the UK\u2019s demand to renegotiate the Northern Ireland protocol.<\/p>\n

There is no high impacting data due from the UK.<\/p>\n

All eyes will be on the ECB\u2019s monetary policy announcement<\/a>. The ECB will make the announcement as inflation in the bloc reached an almost decade high at 3% in July.<\/p>\n
