The Pound Euro (GBP\/EUR<\/a>) exchange rate is holding steady at the start of the new week.<\/p>\n

The Pound is holding onto gains from the previous week as investors continue to shrug off disappointing GDP growth from Friday (and a disappointing Euros2020 result yesterday!).<\/p>\n

Attention now will be on Prime Minister Boris Johnson who is due to set out the plan to easing more covid restrictions next week.<\/p>\n

The Euro slipped last week after the minutes from the latest ECB meeting reaffirmed the central bank\u2019s dovish stance.<\/p>\n

A win by the Italians in the Euros2020 fails to boost the common currency at the start of the week<\/a>.<\/p>\n
