The Pound Euro (GBP\/EUR<\/a>) exchange rate is heading higher, paring losses from the previous session.<\/p>\n

Concerns surrounding the number of daily covid cases kept pressure on the Pound yesterday. New daily infections hit 20,000 on Tuesday. Although deaths remain low.<\/p>\n

UK GDP data will be in focus<\/a>. The 3rd<\/sup> revision of Q1 GDP could show a slightly improvement from -1.5% quarter on quarter contraction previously reported.<\/p>\n

The Euro found some support from surging consumer confidence data. Economic morale in the region hit a 21 year high.<\/p>\n
