The Pound Euro (GBP\/EUR<\/a>) exchange rate remains depressed hovering just below \u20ac1.15.<\/p>\n

The Pound has lost the momentum which carried it higher in the first quarter after the anticipated advantaged from a fast vaccine rollout narrows.<\/p>\n

The exit of BoE\u2019s Chief economist and hawk Andy Haldane is just adding a softer tone to sterling.<\/p>\n

There is no high impacting data due today.<\/p>\n

The Euro remains supported by the weaker US Dollar, despite disappointing industrial production numbers. Industrial production declined a worse than expected -1.6% YoY in February.<\/p>\n
