The Pound Euro exchange (GBP\/EUR)<\/a> rate is extending gains for a third consecutive session. The pair is set to book gains of over 0.6% across the week, its sixth straight week of gains.<\/a><\/p>\n

The Pound is edging higher continuing to find support from the big spending Budget announced earlier in the week. US \/ EU \/ UK trade relations also improved.<\/p>\n

The Euro has been pressurized by a stronger USD after Federal Chair Powell expressed little concern over rising US bond yields.<\/p>\n

Eurozone retail sales -5.9% added to the depressed mood surrounding the Euro.<\/p>\n
