{"id":108371,"date":"2021-02-12T07:30:15","date_gmt":"2021-02-12T07:30:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/currencylive.com\/news\/?p=108371"},"modified":"2021-02-12T09:22:50","modified_gmt":"2021-02-12T09:22:50","slug":"105382-gbp-eur","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/currencylive.com\/news\/105382-gbp-eur\/","title":{"rendered":"GBP\/EUR: Depressed Below  \u20ac1.14"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Pound Euro (GBP\/EUR) exchange rate is extending losses for a second day, down -0.1% at \u20ac1.1380.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/currencylive.com\/news\/105381-gbp-eur-pound-ahead-of-q4-gdp-data\/\">Post Brexit trade friction<\/a> drags on the Pound as tension between the UK and Brussels rose following Brussels\u2019 rejection of most of the government\u2019s demands for easier trade in Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n<p>Attention is now firmly on UK Q4 GDP which is expected to show +0.5% QoQ growth despite a second national lockdown and tier restrictions across the quarter.<\/p>\n<p>The Euro drifted higher in the previous session despite few drivers.
