Ontario \u2013 Canada\u2019s most populous province entered lockdown on January 12.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, the restrictions have not yet resulted in the infection rate falling.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The covid resurgence has negatively impacted Canada\u2019s economic recovery.
