The Pound Euro (GBP\/EUR) exchange rate continues to push higher on Friday. The pair trades +0.1% at \u20ac1.1164 ahead of the London open.<\/p>\n

The Pound has pushed northwards this week even as Brexit talks appear to be on the brink of collapse.<\/p>\n

UK business confidence experienced its biggest jump<\/a> in 3 years this month, with optimism surrounding the economy and economic recovery also picking up strongly.<\/p>\n

Attention will now turn to Bank of England\u2019s Andrew Bailey speech at Jackson Hole for clarity on negative rates.<\/p>\n
